Who would have thought that a mead punch can look this fancy? It tastes even better than it looks! It is light, refreshing, bubbly, with a touch of natural sweetness and lots of fresh fruit.
Are you looking for ideas for your next family & friends get-together and you happen to be a (sparkling) mead lover? If yes, then definitely try this out! All you have to do is to follow these 5 steps:
Step 1: Cut your favorite fresh fruit into cubes. Strawberries, peaches and blueberries are a great combination.
Step 2: Pour in the liquid from a peach compote for a nice sweetness and more volume. Add lime slices, lime juice and mint for extra freshness.
Step 3: Now comes the best part. Open and pour in a 0,5l bottle of sweet mead and a 0,75l bottle of semi-sweet sparkling mead to make the punch bubbly. We used the one from Honigweine Jere.
Step 4: Top with sparkling water and ice cubes to keep it cool.
Step 5: Serve & enjoy in good company.
This makes quite a big batch and it is a great way to make the guests of any garden party happy.
