Are you ready to forget about red\/green pesto for a day and try pasta a little differently?<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ingredients-for-2-portions\">Ingredients for 2 portions:<\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 (250g) package of <a href=\"https:\/\/batasta.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Batasta<\/a>; sweet potato pasta<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Creamy sweet potato sauce:<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 medium-sized sweet potato<\/li><li>200g of purple\/white cauliflower<\/li><li>1 garlic clove<\/li><li>40g of cheddar<\/li><li>1dl of cooking cream<\/li><li>salt, pepper, smoked paprika, (chili, lemon)<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Toppings<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>4 slices of bacon<\/li><li>one spoon of flower honey<\/li><li>20g of feta cheese<\/li><li>1 spring onion<\/li><\/ul><p>Mead Pairing: <a href=\"https:\/\/jere-eu.com\/de\/produkt\/dry-mead-05l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dry Mead Jere<\/a><\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jere-eu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ingredients-batasta-web-e1644777459119.jpg\" alt=\"Batasta with dry Mead Jere\" class=\"wp-image-21495\" width=\"576\" height=\"576\"\/><\/figure><\/div><h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-3-step-process\">The 3 step process:<\/h6><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Peel and chop the sweet potato and cauliflower. Place the cubes into a pot, add water so that is just barely covers the veggies. This way, you will get a tasteful potato broth Cook the cubes together with garlic until soft. When cooked, puree it together with its tasty broth until smooth.  Add cooking cream, cheddar, a generous amount of salt (otherwise the sauce will be too sweet), pepper, sweet paprika and chili. Cook on low temp. to thicken for about 10 min.<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the meantime, fry the bacon slices. Set aside and use a cooking brush to cover the crispy slices with honey. Cook Batasta in salted water for 2-3min. <\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pour the creamy sauce over the potato pasta and stir gently. Plate the pasta and decorate with pieces of honey glazed bacon, feta cheese, some spring onion and a few drops of lemon. <\/li><\/ul><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jere-eu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/suho-medeno-vino.jpg\" alt=\"Trockener Met Jere\" class=\"wp-image-18514\" width=\"267\" height=\"500\"\/><\/figure><\/div><p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Serve with a glass of chilled <a href=\"https:\/\/jere-eu.com\/de\/produkt\/dry-mead-05l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dry honey wine<\/a>. This bright, crisp, and fruit-forward&nbsp;mead is the perfect accompaniment to the creamy , sweet and slightly spicy sweet potato pasta that we just made.
